Tai Pui San = Thaipusam

Hahahaha, yes my name is Tai Pui San not Thaipusam ok..
When i was in primary school people used to call me Pui San or Thaipusam ( and others nickname too like rambutan, coconut and etc.. hahaha )
Until now college, also same as last time... but they won't call me Thaipusam lar
When Thaipusam day comes they will started to remind me.

Hahah, actually calling me Thaipusam also not a big deal la..
I didn't hate my name because it sounds nice and sweet in mandarin what ;p
and i'm proud with my name too hahaha !
At least people won't forget me ma.. every year also will celebrate Thaipusam wan lar x)

Last Thurday was having Mr Rishi class...
He come into the class, standing infront, looking at me and say...
" I remember you ! Is it ur name called Tai Pui San ? "
I thought he will say.. " I remember u ! You is Miss Sei Lor ! " hahahahaha
He used to call me Miss Sei Lor @ Die Lor because on the 1st day of the class i shouted " sei lor " for assignment that he gave, hahaha!

Then he continue..
" Your name is so unique ar.. sound so similar with Thaipusam ! When i was marking ur TAT and saw ur name above.. i totally went shock ! " *laughing all the way..

He keep saying..
Tai Pui San = Thaipusam, Thaipusam = Tai Pui San for don't know how many times...
and he warned my classmate that no one can call me Taipusam except him !
Lol ! he is so siao at that moment...
make those student laugh their ass off.. geeez ! Crazy Rishi..

Hmm, i don't know why i had so many nickname..
I think is more than 20 !
Maybe people are born to create name for their friends hahaha!

Oh ! will continue with Macau post if i'm free but i don't think this month will do..

Meaning of Sohai

Hahaa, eh im not a rude person ok ? That day, i read one of this blog and i found it's kinda amusing lol.. For some maybe not but yes for ones too. I don't know if you read it before or not but it's worth for a read as it explain the meaning of sohai, lol HAHAAHH. Okays, here it is, the way he explain the words..

What is SOHAI?

A visitor asked me what do i mean by 'Sohai'. I bet he is reading my post on Sohai Streamyx Technician - Why Send a Sohai to My House ? So he must be a non-chinese and i very happy to explain to all people in the world who does not know what this fanstastic word means.

When you see the word Sohai, you can replace it with 'Idiot'. i.e. Idiot Streamyx Technician - Why Send an Idiot to My House.

Easy ? But my friend, you better be careful when you use this word because it is not a 'friendly' word, it is a rude word.

Sohai is made up of 2 Cantonis word, So and Hai

So = Stupid

Hai = The organ of your mum where your father put something in and get you out from it. Like a Coke vending machine, you put RM1.50 and you get a can of Coke out from it. So that organ, your father put some liquid in and get you out from it. If you don't know what it is, ASK YOUR MUM, SOHAI ! Ask your father if you don't know what liquid he put in.

That's why Sohai consider a rude word. But it is very common among the Cantonis speaker.

-Sohai ! Do you know how to spell Hippopotamus?

-Look at the Sohai, he wear a red underwear.

Sometimes we can use the word on ourself.

-Today i'm very Sohai, I locked my car key inside the car.

-April Ng, "I am so sohai ! My website get hacked !" (wahahaha, sorry to burn you in but i find it funny that you actually has a blog catergory called sohai !)

Sometimes we can called our friend sohai

- Ui Sohai, where to eat supper ?

- I put soufulow nickname in my address book as Sohai Fu.

(It makes friend closer to each other because only close friend will not get pissed-off with such word. Like in English, you can call your buddy, "Hey ass hole !" Try tha ton a stranger and see if you still can keep your balls)

There are 2 common variations of Sohai

1. Dai Sohai - Dai means big. So Dai Sohai means big idiot. Soufulow is a Dai Sohai because he typed self-employed as self-employer in his resume. [All those YouTube that you watch where the American doing some stuns but failed all are dai sohai, i.e. jump from building to building and fell, skate down the staris handle and fell, burn their own pubic hair... All the fellas in American Funniest Home Videos that send in of someone fell is also dai sohai. All the people who laugh because someone fell is also dai sohai.]

2. Sei Sohai - Sei means die. So it is an extra curse on top of sohai. You use it because of hatred. You called that policeman that saman you a sei sohai. If somebody knocks you car from the back, you can call him sei sohai. If a politician say your mum bocor every month, you can call him sei sohai.So you have learned a new word today, use more in your blog ! If your visitors ask you what is Sohai, you can answer them, "Wah! Sohai you also don't know ar! You really a dai sohai !" Wahahahaha.
